We're off to St. Simon's Island for a week. Unfortunately, or fortunately, there isn't any internet connection. More postings when we come back!

What?!
Josh: *jabbering* ...and then he was in time out.
Me: Time out? Really?
Josh: Uh-huh. And then he was chained up!
Me: Oh, I don't think anyone was chained up.
Josh: Uh-huh!!
Lady: What an imagination!

Monsters
Josh: There are monsters.
Me: No, there aren't any monsters.
Josh: There are scary monsters in caves and they are comin'. We have to hide under a blanket and they might bite it.

Mowing the Lawn
This is grass for the lawnmower to eat to make it green and sparkly, but it's not for eating.

Storytime
As best as I can remember it, a story from Josh that he told me over breakfast:
One time my nightlight burned out
and mommy came in and fixed it
and dada said we had hamburgers
and it went fzzzz.
Your interpretation is as good as mine.

Boys and Girls
While reading a book about opposites, Josh and I came to a page with a boy and a girl on it.
Me: What is this one?
Josh: No, no. We cannot look at that one. It is gross.

Frogs
Josh is fascinated with frogs. He's a frog. Other people are frogs (ex. Robin Frog).
Aunt Robin: Josh, do you want to try some of my cherry jell-o?
Josh: *makes a face* No, frogs do not eat cherry jell-o. They eat popcorn.

Everyone's Here
Everyone got in yesterday. I had the 3 boys playing in the backyard. While we were cleaning up Joshua grabbed his chest and said: My little boobie hurts.

Cuss Words
Josh was introduced to the word "dammit" when he was 2 years old. He knows the word is wrong and is constantly being corrected for using it. He then created two new words that greatly resemble "dammit": Dammo and Gammit.
Computers
Josh is facinated with computers. He has his very own Windows 98. He will sit in front of it for hours playing his computer games.
*Joshua trying to put a DVD into the computer*
Joshua: Grandma, ALL discs go in computers.
Grandma: Josh, I don't think so.*
Joshua: No, they do.
* My grandma is not very knowledgable about computers and Joshua almost convinced her that his computer would play DVDs.
